We can help you register your international adoption so that your child can have an American birth certificate, which will prevent the need to try to communicate about these official documents in a foreign language. We can also coordinate with agencies to finalize the adoption legally here in Arkansas.
  • Often a step-parent wants to adopt his or her spouse’s children. Apart from procedural issues, challenges to this can include obtaining consent from a natural parent who is out of the picture, or proving that consent is unreasonably withheld.
  • The rights of birth parents must be protected. Often referred to as “father’s rights,” we make sure that the adoption process is aboveboard and in the best interest of the child.
  • Are you interested in an interstate adoption? We work with the agencies to resolve legal issues regarding legal control of child, establishing guardianships prior to adoption and meeting all of the requirements of Arkansas law.
